Stewardship is at the heart of everything we do. We are dedicated to protecting and enhancing our local waterways, conserving fish populations, and ensuring healthy, accessible ecosystems for future generations. Through community partnerships, hands-on conservation projects, and educational outreach, we empower anglers and outdoor enthusiasts to serve as active caretakers of our natural wildlife and habitats.

Inspiring the next generation of outdoor stewards is at the heart of our mission. Through engaging, hands-on youth education programs, Hi-Desert Fly Fishers introduces young people to the art and science of fly fishing. We teach casting fundamentals, fly-tying techniques, stream ecology, and catch-and-release ethics to foster a lifelong passion for nature, conservation, and outdoor recreation.

• Youth Programs & Scout Workshops: We welcome partnerships with local youth groups to host interactive workshops, helping youth and scouts earn merit badges while discovering the fun of fishing.

• Get Involved: Interested in hosting a youth workshop or volunteering as a mentor? Reach out through our Contact Form to bring fly fishing education to your group!
